Learning most poker chip tricks isn't that difficult. However, you will need a few things before you get started. It is essential that you have casino style poker chips, the red white and blue plastic interlocking chips will not work!
I highly recommend using 2 different color chips. With many of the chip tricks, this will help you see if you are finishing the trick correctly.
Next you will need time. Some people just seem to pick up the tricks without practice, but this site is for the rest of us. Continue practicing and you will be able to show off your new talent at poker night!
